Response to non-fiction article "What Does the Internet Look Like? There's an App for That"

We all use the internet in all types of different ways, and for all types of reasons. But when you can imagine the constant chain of links on pages from links it is a vast "galaxy" so to speak, of websites and communication hubs. There is now an app that has recently been created to see the vast universe we call the internet. The app is called "Map of the Internet". The app displays an interactive three dimensional image of the internet. The app is compatible with "Android" devices, iphones and ipads.

People who use the app can find networks anywhere the look on the globe. The users spin the globe in order to look for the networks, literally world-wide. In my opinion, this app is beyond uses of normal reasons. I don't understand why a normal person would need this in their daily agendas. Though I do think it's extraordinary i don't think it would be categorized as a necessity. But it all depends who is using the app, because some people might be excited that an app like this now exist but I don't see a major point to the app.
